Aside from the whole Elsa-might-have-a-girlfriend-in-Frozen-2 saga, I think there’s something Disney-related worth buzzing about as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.

Let’s cut all the talking and go straight into why you should totally make time to watch it in the cinemas.

1. It is relatable

It’s the 21st century.

There’s no longer just three things we can’t live without.

Now it’s food, water, air…and Internet.

Which is the direction that this movie is going.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 revolves around the importance of having Wi-Fi in our daily activites, which in this case, is gaming.

So you can be prepared to go out of the cinema thinking:”Oh, that’s so me!”

2.Disney princesses unite

Okay, I’m really excited about this.

I’m finally going to see all of my childhood idols together!

Please excuse me for my excessive fan-girling.

Disney went all in and got all of the original ‘Princesses’ back for this sequel.

Here’s the exciting line-up:

  • Ming Na Wen as Mulan
  • Jodi Bensonas Ariel
  • Paige O’Hara as Belle
  • Linda Larkin as Jasmine
  • Idina Menzel as Elsa
  • Irene Bedard as Pocahontas
  • Anika Noni Rose as Tiana
  • Mandy Moore as Rapunzel
  • Kelly Macdonald as Merida
  • Kristen Bell as Anna
  • Auli’i Cravalho as Moana

We’re not sure how these princesses are going to show off their chemistry with each other, but according to Slash Film, it will be like Avengers.

Ooh savage.

3.Star-struck

If you aren’t exactly a firm-believer in “happily ever after”, perhaps you might be more excited for Star Wars and Marvel?

I’m not kidding you, this has got to be the most epic “reunion” of all time.

C-3PO, R2-D2 and Yoda from Star Wars, as well as Iron Man and Gamora from Marvel Comics will be part of the film as well.

I’m already squealing internally.

4.Release date

It will first premiere in the US on 21 November this year, and will be screening in our cinemas the day after.

Just in time for all of you kids who are still in school too!

5.Voice cast

Currently, these are the voice cast known to us:

  • John C. Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph

  • Jane Lynch as Sergeant Calhoun
  • Taraji P. Henson as Yesss
  • Ed O’Neill as Mr. Litwak
  • TBA as JP
  • Alan Tudyk
  • James Corden

So yes, the two leads are still the same, and we just cannot wait to see the spark in their chemistry again!

6.An important player

You may have watched every single Disney movie, but can you imagine someone taking part in all of them?

Alan Tudyk is a Disney-favourite.

Ever since Wreck-It Ralph, he has starred in every single animation film, right up to Moana.

Tudyk is also going to be part of the Frozen 2 voice cast, apart from Wreck-It Ralph 2.

However, his role in this two films are not known to us yet.

7. A new character

While Ralph and Vanellope find their way through the massive digital city A.K.A the Internet, they meet a new character who helps them.

Yesss is an algorithm, who is also an editor on “Buzzaholic”.

She’s basically the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, opening a whole new world for the leads.

8.Fandoms

Yesss takes Ralph and Vanellope to the website OhMyDisney.com.

P.s. It does not exist in real life.

This official site of the Disney fandom is the main location of the movie.

Here, you (not you but you get what I mean) can find like-minded friends and join fandoms.

You know, like K-Pop fandoms.

This is also the place where all fandoms come together.

That would be cool as heck in real life.

9.Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm

Just imagine this:

“There’s Tinkerbell flying around, a Millennium Falcon, a Marvel Yourself booth where fans are turning themselves into superheroes, Stan Lee makes a cameo, there’s a TsumTsum pit, the squishy robot Baymax giving a Q&A, and a stage full of Disney princesses”

Does that not sounds like a dream?

According to Slash Film, this has became a reality in the movie.

It would be an iconic scene when the different characters from different film companies interact with each other.

For example, one princess savagely shut off another by saying, “Don’t worry about her, she’s from another studio.”

Interestingly, Vanellope also managed to become a part of the squad.

All it took was a “big strong man” to show up in her world.

I mean Wreck-It Ralph wouldn’t exactly be a prince, but he’s literally big and strong…so I guess that would work.

10.Disney sequels

Time to test if you’re a true Disney fan: how many times did Disney make a theatrical sequel?

Well, according to Collider, Disney has only done The Rescuers Down Under and Fantasia 2000.

So you can guess how excited Rich Moore was when he had the chance to discuss with Disney about a sequel.

(He’s the director btw)

Most of the crew, according to Moore, were open to the idea as well.

In March 2016, Moore announced the planning of the sequel. He also added that there may be a guest appearance by Mario.

Three months later, Walt Disney Animation Studio confirmed the release date and also stated that Moore will be joined by his first film’s co-writer Phil Johnston as directors.

Okay, enough talking.
