That disgusting, fatty bulge just between our underarms and our bra just makes every single form-fitting top and dress look horrible on us. However, there are ways to combat this and make ourselves look more svelte in the process. Here are 5 ways to do so.

Wear the right bra
For the women, you need to find the right bra size to ensure the straps do not cut into your flesh, making you look like you have more fat than you actually do. Always make sure your bra skims nicely along your body, not too big and not too small, and is comfortable. A tight bra makes you look and feel ugly.

Choose flattering outfits
Besides wearing a bra that hides underarm fat, you need to ensure that you choose flattering dresses and tops that will hide it too. Choose outfits that complement your figure and flows over it to give you that smooth silhouette. Now, who says you can wear sleeveless, strapless tops just because of the fat on your armpits? Select well and you will understand why.

Do arm exercises
This is a no-brainer. You can choose to do those that require weights or without, depending on which you prefer. Do note though that there is no way to do targeted weight loss, so as long as you are exercising and burning 500 more calories than you eat every day for a week, you should lose about 1 to 2 pounds. This, coupled with a good diet and other healthy habits, will bring you to a leaner upper body silhouette in no time.

Swim
Swimming is an awesome exercise to get rid of flabby underarms, especially breaststroke. If cardio or jogging isn’t your thing, try doing a few laps a few times a week and you should see the results in no time.

Eat healthy
Of course on top of an ample amount of exercise, you should also indulge in a good, healthy diet to ensure results. Have more greens, nuts and protein and cut down on carbs such as white rice, noodles, pastas and white bread. Stock up on white meats, vegetables and fruits and you should be on your way to a slimmer and tighter physique in lightning speed. And never, ever starve. That will only cause more fat to be stored in areas you are trying to lose them from.
