With less than a week left till its premiere, we thought we’d let you know what we’d be spending this week doing in preparation for the movie’s release – join us! Are you ready to delve back into the magical world of Harry Potter?
Read The Cursed Child

If you haven’t already read the latest book, a story written by J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, which is actually the rehearsal script for a two-part stage play by Thorne. Then we do suggest that you start your Harry Potter spree right here. Find out what our heroes of the wizarding world are up to after the defeat of Lord Voldemort, as they deal with issues like parenthood, something that magic can have little effect on. Once we’re in tune with all things past, present and future, we’ll be ready for the upcoming movie.
Read Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them
What better way to truly enjoy the movie than to have read the novel it was based on. We all know that movies based off of novels often adapt and change certain aspects of the storyline to better suit the cinematic audience. When you’ve read up on the books, you can identify the parts that were changed and better appreciate the differences between the two. Of course, you can also show off to your friends the knowledge you have got out of the storybook.
Watch All The Harry Potter Movies or Read All The Books

Either watch all 8 Harry Potter movies within a week or read the entire series in a week, whichever you can complete before the release of Fantastic Beasts. What’s even better, claim the title of a true fanatic and complete both the movies and the books within the week, before you catch the latest movie. Saturate your mind and soul with everything wizard, witches, and magic. When you get to the Fantastic Beasts movie, you’ll be truly immersed in the wizarding world.

Visit The Harry Potter Exhibition At Philatelic Museum
Collecting Magic: From Stamps To Wands, that is the name of the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum located at Coleman Street. It’ll be on display from the 2 Nov 2016 to June 2017, but we strongly suggest that you visit the exhibition before the release of Fantastic Beasts and check out the memorabilia, collectibles, and Harry Potter stamp collection from all over the world.
Get The Robes Before The Movie
Once you are done with all of the activities above, the only thing left to do before the movie is to get yourself a pair of wizard/witch’s robe from the Harry Potter series. Rent one or make one, just get one either way. Nothing says Harry Potter fanatic more than an individual dressed up for a movie of the wizarding world.
Time is running out! If you’re going to complete all 5 tasks before the premiere of Fantastic Beasts, get started as soon as you are done reading this! (Unless you have a time turner, but they’re banned by the Ministry of Magic.)
