JTown Cafe is located in Midpoint, Orchard and serves authentic Indonesian street food. A bowl of their Bakso or beef ball noodles set during lunch retails for a mere $6.90. The set comes with some drinks too. Don’t miss your chance to try some sweet Indonesian Sweet Martabak, a type of thick pancake that comes with fillings like chocolate cheese, pandan, and durian.

Hong Kong-themed eatery Honolulu Cafe is where you can go if you’re craving some Hong Kong cuisine. Their signature offerings include egg tarts and Polo Buns, as well as other rice and noodle dishes. You can even come in for breakfast and try their western breakfast platter.

They offer seasonal menus too. Even though there are no seasons in Singapore, they still change up their menu. An example of this would be their creative burgers that use their crispy and slightly sweet polo buns. You’ll be glad to know that Saizeriya has an outlet at Orchard Gateway. For the uninformed, the restaurant is an Italian-Japanese fusion place that has one of the most affordable dishes in Singapore. Pasta here ranges from $4.90 to $7.90 nett! Even for the ones with lots of seafood. If you’re craving something warm and comforting, there are baked Dorias and Gratins served in clay dishes. The appetizer list is impressive, as are the soups and salads you can even get baked escargots at only $5.90 for six pieces!

Kim Dae Mun’s tagline aptly describes their service; ‘Restaurant quality food at food court prices’. You can expect to find authentic Korean fare within a space that comes straight out of a Korean drama. Do check out their deliciously marinated Hotplate Chicken ($8) which comes with a bowl of rice. Plus, their stews are really well done too. Their Kimchi Soup with Pork ($7.50) and other Kimchi stew dishes are the right mix of sour and spice
