Pokemon GO is a pretty fun and addictive game but you can’t deny that to newbies like us, it can be incredibly frustrating as well, especially if you’re building up Pokemon to conquer gyms.

Spirit Dust are used to power up your Pokemon and it’s a very treasured commodity in the game since it can only be obtained when you capture wild Pokemon.

So in order to help you stop wasting Spirit Dust and time on weaker Pokemon, here is a list of the 8 strongest Pokemon that is found in Singapore so far.

1. Dragonite

At 50 CP growth per power up, Dragonite has the second highest CP growth behind Mewtwo (please let us know if you’ve caught it). It was also listed as one of the S-tiered Pokemon great for attacking and defending gyms based on its stats.

You can find wild Dragonite at SMU, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Suntec City and the Bugis area (as far as we know). Alternatively, just get your way to a Dratini nest and spam Pokeballs.

2. Snorlax

Everyone goes crazy when Snorlax appears, and for good reason too. It’s the second highest Pokemon on the list with 45 CP growth per power up. It doesn’t hurt that it’s so damn cute and made it up onto our list of the 12 cutest Pokemon in Singapore.

You can find wild Snorlax at Woodlands Ave 1, Bedok Point, Vivo City, 401 Hougang Ave 10, 5 Tampines Central 6 and Tampines Street 83

6. Exeggutor

An unlikely (at least to us) entry on the list is Exeggutor, a pleasant surprise considering how often we see the lower evolution form on the streets in Singapore.

With a 40 CP growth per power up, this powerhouse of a Pokemon is ranked S in both defending and attacking gyms.

7. Gyarados

Another Pokemon that everyone in Singapore is trying to get is probably Gyarados, no matter whether you’re going crazy trying to catch enough Magikarp to evolve, or catch a wild one.

Unfortunately, we do not know where to catch Flareon at the present moment (kind hearted souls, please let us know so the crazy fanatics in the office can finally focus on work) but you can capture as many Eevees as you want and evolve them till you get a Flareon.

And for nostalgic sake, let’s just include the 3 beginning Pokemon that accompanied Ash on his Pokemon journey faithfully.

Coming up just short of Charizard and Venusaur is Blastoise but it’s no slouch either. With 37 CP growth per power up, Blastoise might be ranked A at attacking gyms, but its tank build gives it an S-tier when it comes to defence.
