Forget Descendants of the Sun or You Who Came from the Stars. Wait a minute, why do all the popular dramas involve cosmological objects? Anyway, some girls are just so addicted to dramas that it might just be destroying their relationships. Is your girlfriend hooked on every drama that comes out? Then be careful!

She comes up with excuses to avoid going out.
“Umm, I have a very important exam tomorrow.” That’s just girlfriend code for “The latest episode of my favourite drama is coming out tonight at 7pm sharp.”

Even if you manage to get her away from the TV, she has withdrawal symptoms.
You can see her tapping her foot impatiently because the waiter is so slow at serving when all she wants to do is to get home and watch the final ending of her drama. Also, throughout the date, half her mind is somewhere else on drama planet.

Her eyesight worsens every year.
The strength of her eyesight is inversely proportional to the number of dramas she watch. The more dramas, the worse it gets. OMG, what if one day she can’t even see your face?

She expects you to act like the heroes in the dramas.
Yep, if you don’t tie her hair for her or go to the department store, then she is going to be sorely disappointed in you.

She has a very vivid imagination.
Sometimes, about the wrong things. If you are gone for more than 5 minutes to the toilet, she starts imagining scenarios such as finding you with another girl at the opposite corner of the restaurant.

She has mood swings.
Not because she has PMS, but because her favourite character in the drama is in trouble/dead. This is the worst day of her life.

She gets angry when you don’t like her recommendations.
How can you fall asleep while watching the first episode of this exciting new drama? She picked it specially for you so that both of you can have another thing in common!

She demands that you visit faraway countries with her.
It just so happens that her favourite dramas all have scenes in stunning locations in Europe. Tough luck on your wallet.
