You know, with the number of promo codes lying around, it’s almost difficult to get a ride at full price.
Today (16 Dec 2016), from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., by using the promo code “SHARE” and using a card to make your payment, you’ll get $5 off your ride in GrabShare.
And wait, before you open your app, read clearly: it’s GrabShare, not GrabCar.
GrabShare is a direct competition with uberPOOL, and it’s a relatively new service by Grab. How it works is simple: if you intend to go to Tampines from Jurong, the driver might exit at, say, Euros to pick up another person who’s also going to Tampines.
In other words, you share the ride with others, and therefore pay lesser.
Here’s how to claim $5 off your GrabShare rides:
- Download the Grab app from the App Store or Google Play and register your account.
- On the booking screen, select your pick-up and drop-off points.
- Choose the GrabShare vehicle type and select debit/credit card as your payment method.
- Enter the promo code SHARE.
- Tap ‘Book’ and enjoy your $5 off your ride.
And well, here’s the terms and condition. Do note the fourth term!
- Valid for GrabShare rides only.
- Promotion period is valid on 16th December 2016, between 7am – 10pm.
- Valid for card payments only.
- Limited to 30,000 redemptions per day.
- Maximum of 2 redemptions per passenger.
To know whether there’re any more redemptions left, simply go to their social media accounts as they’ll update the status there.
In the meantime, do remember: if you’re in a rush, it’s always better to opt for GrabCar. If not, just grab a share and save some money, because TGIF!
Share this with your friends and family members, because why not?
