Don’t say bojio: John Little@Jurong Point moving out sale (Up to 90% Off) from 1 Jun-24 Jul 2016

For the first time since we started to dabble in promotions, we have mixed feelings about this promotion. Make no mistake, the sale (as we read it) seems pretty awesome. I mean, up to 90% off, who won’t be happy with that, right?

But on the other hand, if you have been a long-time resident near Jurong Point, you’ll probably be unhappy with this sale.

John Little has been a permanent fixture in Jurong Point, and no matter whether you’re a working adult, a retiree or a student, you’ll definitely browse through their many products while waiting for friends or trying to get the perfect gift for your girlfriend’s dad. A Jurong Point without John Little just seems different, no?

We were pretty surprised by this moving-out sale of John Little at Jurong Point because honestly, we thought it’ll be there forever.

A report back in December 2015 put out by Straits Times stated: John Little store in Marina Square will close on April 26, and the Tiong Bahru Plaza outlet will shut in the final quarter of the year, to “focus manpower and resources on enhancing its Plaza Singapura and Jurong Point stores”.

But of course, we don’t know whether John Little is moving out from Jurong Point for real, or if it’s just a relocation like Harvey Norman in Jurong Point.
