You know what’s the worst feeling in the world?

When you realize you would have got something for free, yet you willingly pay for it. Even if you’re rich, you’ll still feel the pain.

And if you’ve ordered McDelivery recently without coming across this article, you might just feel the pain.

Because there are promo codes that entitle you to free stuff, like free 6-pc nuggets or a free Filet-O-Fish.

Which is why a wise man once said, “It’s unwise not to have the Goody Feed app in your phone.”

(The wise man is my boss)

But anyways, here are the promo codes that you probably need to know right now.

Normal Hours (12:00 p.m. to 3:45 a.m.)

Free 6-Pc Nuggets

Now, how about free 6-pc Nuggets?

If your order is more than $19 excluding delivery fee, use the promo code MNUG10 and you’ll see this:

Yeah, it works perfectly!

Free Hot Fudge Sundae

Rumours have it that if you include ice-cream in your order, it’ll arrive faster. Regardless of whether it’s true or not, it’s free, so why not?

If your order is more than $15 excluding delivery fee, simply use the promo code REWARDME10 and a free Sundae would pop out:

Even if you don’t like ice-cream? No worries, at least it might just arrive earlier. Just feed your colleague with the ice-cream instead.

Free Filet-O-Fish

Now, this is the one that is really damn worth it.

If your order is more than $23 excluding delivery fee, use the promo code FILET10 and you’ll get Singapore’s favourite fish burger, a Filet-O-Fish, for free.

Yay.

Breakfast Hours (4:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.)

Free Hashbrown

Okay, I’ve got to admit that I haven’t tried this code since it’s not breakfast hours now, but given that all the other codes work perfectly, this should work, too.

If your order is more than $14 excluding delivery, simply use the promo code TASTYOCT10 to get a free hashbrown. Yeah, the hashbrown that somehow is different from the hashbrowns you get elsewhere!

McDonald’s New Items Review

Lest you’re not aware, we’ve the habit of trying out new fast-food items and review them impartially.

Recently, McDonald’s has come out with a new Scrambled Egg Burger, and here’s a brief summary of the review:

These two fellows didn’t makan: they just posed with it like failed influencers

McDonald’s scrambled eggs are in my list of the top inventions in the world: anyone who has tried them before would agree. Whether you’re eating them alone or with a sausage, its fluffiest and its sweet-yet-not-overly-sweet-taste would make you feel like McDonald’s makes the greatest eggs.

That itself is a winner.

But it’s not the scrambled eggs that steal the show completely this time. It’s the combination of the scrambled eggs with the cheddar cheese. When sweet meets sour, the flavour blends in perfectly, almost as perfect as Christopher Lee with Fann Wong.

One thing that strikes out is the fluffiest: everything is so soft, so it’s like having a cloud burger.

I was expecting to feel jaded since it’s a rather big burger (remember, 10,000 eggs in a burger), but surprisingly I don’t. It seems like the sausage / ham is there to ensure that every bite is fresh.

Yeah, we were singing praises for it. But not for the other new item, the Creamy Chicken Herb Pie:

…it tastes almost similar to any chicken pie you can find in a bakery. However, unlike those in bakeries whereby the creamy chicken sinks into the puff perfectly, this doesn’t. Instead, the crust is so hard and independent that I savour both the fillings and the crust separately.

In other words, siam that instead.

Now you know what to order to get the freebies, don’t you?
