Kind Soul bought Cake for Elderly
This heartwarming story took place in Choa Chu Kang on last Saturday. (4 Mar) At around 8:30 pm, an elderly woman was seen staring at some cakes at a shop for a long time. Awhile later, a couple was seen talking to the elderly woman. They then proceeded to purchase a cake for her.
This is a pretty touching sight, given that the couple went forward and bought the elderly woman a cake. Who would have thought of doing so? To us, it might just be a piece of cake. But to the elderly woman, it might be food that she hardly gets to eat. The cake might just be a reflection of the love and kindness strangers give to her.
The next time you see someone in need of something, if you’re in a position to provide, he/she will be eternally grateful to you. After all, no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted, yeah?
