Want to unlock secrets to staying youthful? This model, known as ‘Japan’s Lady of Eternal Youth’, has her secrets to looking 20 years younger than she actually is. Before that, here’s a disclaimer: you’ll be so mind-blown, you might just think that it’s fake.
But it’s real.
Ms Masako Mizutani, born in 1968 (which means she’s essentially 49 years old), doesn’t even look a day older than 20-years-old. With her bright, supple skin and wide, youthful eyes, Ms Mizutani has been wowing fans for years as she doesn’t appear to be ageing at all. What is her secret to staying young?
Keep both your body and mind fit
According to Ms Mizutani, it is important to keep both the body and mind active to stay young. Meaning we should do regular workouts and continue to stimulate our brain as we grow older.
Eat healthy and in proportion
Fresh and healthy food is very important for a young skin and body. She eats four meals a day in small portions. Also, she drinks a lot of water, which is important for washing out the toxins. A healthy lifestyle includes staying away from alcohol and tobacco, keeping the skin free of problems as well.
Skincare
Eating the right food such as; fruits, milk, nuts and vegetables are the most important factor for feeding the skin. However, a skin care routine is also key to keeping your skin younger as it protects you from pollution and dust from the outside. As mentioned before, you should always apply vitamin E based cream or lotions all over the body to keep the skin soft.
Also, it is important to never go out in the sun without sunscreen protection. Sun is the most damaging factor for our skin and can easily make you look older. Following cleaning and moisturising routine every night before bed helps as well.
The right make-up
With the right make-up techniques, it is able to give Ms Mizutani that “forever-young” look. Her biggest tip is to apply the right make-up for your age. Apply light make-up and light shades as bright colours and shades don’t work out very well as you grow older.
Now, think about it: avoid sinful food, avoid sun and exercise regularly. No wonder most 49-year-olds look 49 years old, eh?
