With Hungry Ghost Festival slated to end in slightly more than a week, it’s time for a more auspicious festival to grace our shores.

The Mid-Autumn Festival.

Taking place on 24 September, this harvest festival is intended to celebrate the end of the autumn harvest, though 99% of the population really only care about the mooncakes.

But hold on, I’ve some good news for you: from 30 August (which, by the way, is yesterday) onwards…

There will be more than 2,000 Disney Tsum Tsum lanterns dedicated to the festival at VivoCity’s SkyPark.

Eye-catching? Let’s explore some aesthetic details, shall we?

Tsum Tsum galore

Over 2,000 Tsum Tsum lanterns will be gracing the stage at VivoCity’s third-level SkyPark, and they come in the form of all your favourite Disney and Pixar characters.

Yes, folks, I’m talking about classic characters such as Chip & Dale, Bambi, Stitch, Goofy & many more!

What’s more, there’s not one, not two but four magical zones to explore once you’re there.

Wishing Wonderland

Situated right at the water feature area of the SkyPark, this section features the ice-cold “Frozen” sisters Anna & Elsa, as well as Sven and Olaf.

Plus, you can get a wishing card for $2 and release a Mid-Autumn Disney Tsum Tsum-themed floating lantern (with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Foundation)!

Why fly to Taiwan, when you can release a floating lantern here??

Tunnel of Love

Spanning 40m in length, this Instaworthy tunnel is crammed with Tsum Tsum lanterns of more than 30 Disney and Pixar characters including Nemo from Finding Nemo, Stitch from Lilo & Stitch and Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh.

Got a significant other? You know what to do 😉
