Getting sunburns are one of the most annoying pains we, unfortunately, are well-acquainted and familiar with on this sunny island.

Especially for those of us who have more delicate skin and prone to sunburns.

The whole recovering process since sunburns can sometimes be very painful and ugly, especially if someone gives you a friendly pat on your back.

Yes, the back that has sunburn.

Do you feel that pain? Oh yes, here’s a simple trick to remove sunburn that is proven to be extremely easy and effective.

First step: prepare materials

You will need a total of 4 things: a pitcher, a rag that you don’t need anymore, water, three bags of black tea (Earl grey is fine).

Second step: fill pitcher

Fill the pitcher with warm water and soak the teabags in it. It’s ready when the water is almost black.

Third step: heal the wounds

Make sure the water is cooled, to a warm temperature that you’re able to handle. Put in the rag to absorb the tea and dab it to your sunburn. Leave it on and let it be absorbed into your skin (do not wipe it off).

Once they’re dry, re-apply multiple times and let it work its magic.

You can do it at night

You can even do this before bed and proceed to sleep till the next morning.

However, take note not to stain your bed sheet. You can wash it off after it’s completely done and dried up, preferably a couple of hours after applying the tea.

The sunburn should have subsided or even better, be gone! The sooner you apply this trick after getting that darned sunburn, the quicker and more effective it will be.

This will greatly relieve your discomfort and accelerate the recovery of your damaged skin.

You can continue to use coconut oil or Vaseline to nourish your skin after that! We advise that you do this in your bathroom as it’s easier to clean up after the mess.
