Calling all Potterheads, I am sure you’re eagerly waiting for the launch of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite so that you can dive into the wizarding world and experience the magic firsthand.

Yes, created by Pokemon Go developer, Niantic Inc and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, they will be using augmented reality (AR).

Imagine running into Dementors along Orchard Road or having a wizarding duel with your annoying colleague during work!

But hold that enthusiasm as they have not mentioned when it will be released, but there will be more details coming this year.

But if you’re can’t wait, there is a new RPG mobile game on the horizon—Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery.

Created by mobile games studio Jam City, part of the Portkey Games label from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the first trailer for the game is out and it has been going viral!

This will be the first mobile game ever, to allow you to live your life as a student in Hogwarts.

Set in the 1980s, the time between Harry Potter’s birth and his enrolment at Hogwarts, you will be creating your own personalised student avatar and you will be pretty much doing what Harry Potter did.

You will be attending classes like Defence Against the Dark Arts, mastering spells (wingardium leviosa, anyone?) and making friends (you will get to meet Ron’s elusive elder brother, Bill Weasley)—basically the whole shebang!

According to MTV Asia, the game is available on Google Play.

With that said, it is still marked as unreleased when I checked and be careful of dubious APKS lurking around.

They might just be Horcruxes.

And hey, don’t forget about the Fantastic Beasts sequel which would be released around November this year—Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore is a good enough reason to catch the movie.

All in all, 2018 is going to be a good year for us!

I am sorry muggles!
