Imagine this: you’ve only got $15 in your bank account but your bae has been egging you to go on a nice date.
Instead of staying in and telling them “no, I’m broke” for the umpteenth time, you decide to look up free outdoor movie screenings! Genius!
1) Be My Kaki Movie Bus
Be My Kaki Movie Bus is what it is – a bus with a massive movie screen attached to it. Every week, this adorable bus roams around Singapore and visits void decks, parks and neighbourhood town centres to screen movies. It mainly shows family-friendly shows which include cartoons, popular box office hits and animations such as Kungfu Panda, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo.
2) Movies by the Beach (Sentosa)
This is one of the more well-known outdoor movie screening spots on this list. Sentosa’s weekly outdoor movie series happens every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Palawan Green. Each week has a different focus from different countries so you can expect to watch exhilarating blockbusters and classics from Chinese, Malay, Hindi and Thai backgrounds. Grab some snacks and mats and make yourself comfortable on the soft grass for a chill time!

If you own a car, you can take your date on a spin and drive them down to the latest MovieMob destination to catch a movie. If you don’t, fret not as they sometimes screen their movies at landmarks such as Marina Bat, Botanic Gardens or Singapore Art Museum.
4) Movie Under The Stars @ Our Tampines Hub
Come night, Our Tampines Hub’s open-air plaza transforms into a makeshift movie theatre that shows kid-friendly films that are great for family get-togethers. There is no need for mats or blankets here as chairs are provided. If you are feeling a little peckish, you can also head on over to one of the eateries in the mall to grab some munchies.

5) Popcorn Pop-Up Cinema
Most people associate the movie app Popcorn with your usual cinema movie timings. However, did you know that they also hold their own outdoor movie screenings? These are held at various locations in Singapore every week and they screen popular blockbusters and classics like Black Panther, Clueless and Thor: The Dark World. Also, if you flash the Popcorn app, they also provide you with an unlimited amount of popcorn to munch on while you enjoy your movie. They really are living up to their name!

The Coca-Cola Plus Coffee has arrived in Singapore, and let’s just say that the taste is very subjective: one of us thinks it’s like coffee candy, one of us thinks it’s like carbonated dark chocolate milk and one of us think it’s like Vanilla Coke. However, none of us thinks that it’s worth a second try, simply because we’ll all rather have Coke and coffee separately.
