5 restaurant student meals in Singapore that cost only about $10 per person!

Have you graduated? It doesn’t matter, as long as you keep the young look and the Ezlink card that proves your student status!

Student deals are much embraced by all types of students in Singapore, where cost is a huge limitation for all our activities. Hence, do not be surprised if you see these places swamped with students on a weekday lunch hour, because most probably there are only that much places that we can go to and hang out after a tiring day at school.

Eighteen Chefs

This is no doubt on the top of the list. From only $6.40, their student meal is available any time, any day of the week! It also includes the fun activity of mix and matching your favourite pasta or cheese baked rice with any of your favourite sauce and ingredients, with a buy-one-get-one-free top up of the ingredient should 1 be not enough. It also includes a decent cup of Ice Lemon Tea and a free scoop of Ice Cream that guarantees you enough food to last you through the one hour of chit-chat with your friends.

Students now are extremely lucky to have Eighteen Chefs opened in 8 different places in Singapore – when they only had 1 in the past at Tiong Bahru. So be sure to head down with your student pass and head to this affordable place that doesn’t even impose any service charge!

Mad Jack

You would probably not hear of this humble western restaurant in Singapore because they do not have any outlets in town. But, they are spread out across in Singapore to provide some of the most decent food available for student price.

At $6.45 (before GST), their student meals are available every Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 5:30pm, with choices such as pasta, burger and fishes.

Fish & Co.

This is definitely one of my favourite places to visit because of the awesome fish & chips that they serve. They are also one of the places with the widest varieties of fish & chips where you can get it done just the way you want it to be.

At Fish & Co., student specials are only priced at $10 NETT, with choices of the various fish & chips available as well as pasta, available until 5pm on weekdays.

Pizza Hut

Being one of the higher end fast food, Pizza Hut is a lover for students because of the cheap and affordable student meals which at the same time satisfies your pizza cravings. Moreover, they have outlets all over Singapore, at almost every available mall you can think of!

At only $7.90, you can get a main course, a soup and a drink with lots of add-on options that will make you spoilt for choice.

Swensen’s

Perhaps one of the higher end types of student meal, they offer a choice of any food item + iced lemon tea or any 2 ice cream sundaes at a price of $10.80++. However, they are only available from 2.30pm to 5pm in line with their happy hour so you can head over if you are feeling rich or craving for some quality ice cream sundaes from Swensen’s!
