Afraid that your boyfriend is not serious about your relationship? That it’s still just “puppy-love”? How do you know he’s committed?
He takes time to listen to your problems
You know a boy becomes a man when he bothers to listen to your problems instead of simply nodding and moving on to the next topic. He’s serious about you and the relationship if he sits down and listen and it’s a bonus point if he offers some advice for you to solve your problems.
He accounts for himself
He’s committed if he tells you he has something to see to before not replying to your texts instead of just disappearing and not bothering to inform you beforehand. He tells you that he is busy with work or school and bothers enough to know you’re worried about him.
He says “We” instead of “I”
You know he’s serious when he includes you in his plans and future. He says “We will have a happy future” instead of “I will have a happy future” – that means he wants you in his life, he’s serious about your relationship and it’s for keepsake.”
He makes plans instead of leaving it to you
It gets annoying when you are the one who has to plan for outings and see when he’s free ALL THE TIME. If your boyfriend and you take turns to plan your outings and he contributes equally, that guy is a keeper!
He offers to help you out
Busy with an errand for the day so you can’t meet your boyfriend? If he offers to help, he’s serious about you. It tells you that you can count on him and that he wants to spend time with you even doing chores instead of just having fun.
