Are you dating a woman, or a girl?

Now, this is a subjective question that might annoy some ladies out there, but let’s call spade a spade and look at whether you’re dating a woman or a girl, should we?

Here are seven signs that you’re actually dating a woman, not a girl!

1. A girl only looks at how many big Cs you check off the list.

Anyone can list those big Cs off their fingers – cash, condo, car, credit card, and a country club membership. This preppy girl cares more about her materialistic needs and is interested about facts like how many dresses/pairs of shoes you can buy for her.

A woman, on the other hand, knows how to accept graciousness from a man – but knows how to fend for herself when necessary. The real woman also cares about your thoughts, your motivations, and your aspirations. Big difference! If your girl is constantly only caring about the next big shopping trip and not doing anything nice for you, then it’s time to check out her priorities.

2. A woman respects her body and who she shares it with.

I’m not condemning women out there who choose to use their bodies for other benefits – my point, however, is that an attached woman would know how to respect her body…and even more so, would respect who she shares it with.A girl plays games that are humiliatingly painful to watch and uses her sexuality to get what she wants.

3. A girl confines herself to superficiality and doesn’t care about anything else.

A real woman thinks about improving and bettering herself. She educates herself the best she can – not because she wants to impress other people around her, but because she knows she has the capability to do so much more with the information she gains.

The girl knows nothing of world politics or current world events and is more than happy to confine herself to her superficial bubble. An intelligent woman – when prodded – may even be able to best you in an intellectual argument.

4. A girl lacks integrity.

The girl gets annoyingly-jealous (just like how you see it in dramas), and will do anything to tear down things that get in her way. She backstabs others for her benefit and can be quite the tantrum-monster.

A woman will reach out and help others who need it because she understands that kindness begets kindness; plus she knows that there’s no point in being too competitive. A woman gets true friends – a girl gets none, which isn’t surprising seeing as she goes out to hurt everyone in the first place.

5. A woman maximizes the talents she was born with.

And she isn’t afraid to show it. The ferociously brave woman fights for her sake and knows what to do with what she was born with regardless of whether it is her ability at public speaking, languages, Mathematics, arts, or that godly IQ she has. She is happy and thankful with the talent she has and seeks to further practice it.

6. A girl does not understand the meaning of ‘respect’.

She behaves badly in front of people, throws your gift in the bin as soon as she sees it, is demanding and unreasonably impatient, and is basically a pain in the ass to deal with. Granted, women have a free pass for being like this sometimes, but they do know how to front up with their mistakes and apologize. Women have some self-humiliation.

Girls don’t.

7. Women have morals.

This probably overlaps with some of the other points, but is quite a defining pointer on its own nonetheless. A woman would have some sort of moral compass, or some innate instinct of doing what is fundamentally right. She’s pretty mature, kick-ass, and yet wholeheartedly beautiful at the same time. A girl is ugly because she doesn’t have what’s important on the inside.
