1. Wah Kee Prawn Noodles

Word goes that their stock is actually prawn heads fried with garlic, which explains why their broth is pretty flavorful. Prawns given are pretty generous and once you take the first mouth, you just can’t stop. We heard that their standard has dropped, but they still remained as one of the top few prawn noodles in Singapore.

2. River South (Hoe Nam) Prawn Noodles

If you’re looking for prawn noodles that hit just the right spot, this is probably the one for you. Yellow noodles combined with a fragrant mix of sauces together with intense and savoury broth will definitely make your day.

You wouldn’t be surprised that they’re at Redhill because there is really plenty of good food in the area. Ask for the dry version because the sambal is to die for. Their soup is on the salty side, but you’ll still find yourself finishing it regardless. And best of all, the prawn noodles there are pretty affordable.

5. Blanco Court Prawn Noodle

Located near to the city, they’re a favourite haunt for people who are working in the CBD area. They’re known for their broth which is both flavorful and intense, but we’ve heard their dry prawn noodles aren’t as great. So if you happen to visit, do ask for the soup version. You won’t regret it.

6. Jalan Sultan Prawn Mee @ Kallang

If you’re looking for something so robust it’ll make your mouth explode in flavours, you can probably find it in Whitley Road Big Prawn Mee. Just be warned that not only are they big on flavours, they’re pretty big on the price too, but it’s totally worth it.

8. Min Nan Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle

Look at the picture above and tell me truthfully that you’re not even tempted. What we love most about this is that the shells are removed, and the pork ribs are nice and tender, not too tough to chew. With prawns that are sweet and fresh, and noodles that are cooked just nice, you won’t want to go to other stalls when you’ve had this anymore.
