With all the news about sexual assaults and car accidents, here’s some slightly more uplifting news!

Something that would put a smile on your face.

During last week’s WAFF Women’s Club Championship football match between Shabab al Ordon Club and Arab Orthodox Club in Jordan, a sweet moment was captured by fans who were there to witness the event.

Competitions often result in tensions and competitiveness because well, it’s a competition.

You’re there to win, so you kind of have no choice but to go all out. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t still forge friendships with your opponents. It doesn’t mean that you can’t display good sportsmanship.

And that’s exactly what happened.

According to Indian Express, things got a little rough during the match and one of the footballer’s hijab came undone.

The Shabab al Ordon players immediately paused the game and crowded around their opponent so that she could fix her hijab without showing her hair to the crowd.
