Entertainment Industry Sources Reveal Prostitution Allegations Against Former THE BOYZ Member

According to Tenasia, entertainment industry insiders confirmed that Ju Haknyeon solicited prostitution from Asuka Kirara during their Tokyo meeting.

“Ju Haknyeon met with Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo in late May. During that night, Ju Haknyeon paid her for sex. He engaged in prostitution,” stated Insider A.

The incident occurred on 29 May 2025 at a bar in Roppongi, Tokyo. Ju Haknyeon and his acquaintances met with Kirara Asuka, and they drank throughout the night. Reports indicated that he hugged her. She was also seen resting her chin on his shoulder.

News1 received the initial report from Shūkan Bunshun. One Hundred Label confirmed that they received an inquiry from Shūkan Bunshun, and verified the details with Ju Haknyeon.

Insider B revealed that another producer formerly employed at One Hundred was also removed from the company due to the prostitution-related issue.

Korean Law Violations and Company Investigation Findings

One Hundred discovered circumstantial evidence of Ju Haknyeon’s prostitution engagement while verifying Shūkan Bunshun’s claims. He initially denied the allegations but reportedly admitted to the prostitution accusations after being presented with evidence.

Under Korean law, any Korean national who engages in prostitution, whether domestically or abroad, faces up to ₩3.00 million KRW (~SGD$2,960) in fines or up to one year in prison.

Tenasia identified this law and the prostitution revelation as key reasons for One Hundred’s decision to remove Ju Haknyeon from THE BOYZ.

Asuka Kirara debuted as an AV actress in 2007 and retired from the industry in 2020. She has since transitioned to become an influencer.

Ju Haknyeon had previously announced a temporary hiatus from THE BOYZ’s group activities before the scandal broke publicly.
