10 Things You Should Never Say to Girls, Especially When They’re Pissed Off

Guys are often rather clueless when it comes to talking with girls and may say some things that will inadvertently piss off a girl, and they don’t even know what they did to make the girl angry. As a girl myself, here are some things that I never want to hear a guy say, and if you say these when a girl is already pissed, good luck to you!

1. Are you on your period?

This is a big no-no, even if you do know for a fact that she is on her period. The last thing she wants is for someone to remind her that she has to suffer for a week every month. And if she is not on her period, you are implying that she is acting like a shrew.

2. Why are you acting this way?

If she is already annoyed, this will only make her more irritated. It’s like adding fuel to the fire, and you definitely don’t want to do that. She will freak out even more and then you’ve got an even bigger headache.

3. You’re crazy

Saying she’s crazy will only lead her to actually prove her craziness to you. Unless you have a death wish, you should never imply that she is crazy.

4. Calm down

Do you notice that people like to say this when someone is in a rage? However, this sentence is no help at all and will only serve, like, a red flag to a bull, provoking the other person to be even more infuriated.

5. I don’t care

She wants your opinion, no matter how insignificant you think your opinion is. Reading between the lines, she will feel that you are not fully invested in the relationship even if that is not what you meant. This will then spiral into a whole new argument, so think long and hard before you say this.

6. Are you still not ready?

By now you should know and accept that it will take some time for us girls to prepare to go out. Always let her have ample time primping and dressing otherwise she will never let you hear the end of it. After all, she wants you to be proud of her and simply accept that this is part and parcel of being a girl.

7. Don’t be so sensitive

Are you really telling her how she should feel? Her emotions are entirely her own and you should never tell someone what and how to feel.

8. My ex…

You are only asking for trouble by saying anything with these words in it. It doesn’t matter if you are putting down your ex or saying that she is much better than your ex. She doesn’t want to know that you think about other girls besides herself.

9. Hurry up!

Issuing orders to your partner like she is your pet dog or horse will earn you a death glare and a cold shoulder for at least the rest of the day. Worst case scenario? You might end up in a full-fledged row which you will definitely lose.

10. Not saying anything

If you just keep quiet all the time and do not share any of your feelings with her, eventually she is going to think that you are simply not interested in the relationship. She would rather you say something wrong than simply keeping quiet. Bonus tip – when in doubt always apologise!
