People with straight hair will never understand the struggle we have as owners of curly or wavy hair. The battles we wage every day trying to tame our hair are epic episodes that is Star Wars-worthy. We often envy those with straight hair because the maintenance of hair for them is so much simpler.

Let me introduce you to a simpler way to make your hair straighter after a night of sleep without using an iron. I cannot promise you that your hair will be silky smooth and straight like a needle using this method, but I can promise you that it will be easier for you to manage your hair using this method.

Step 1: Prepare your hair
Wet your hair. This method will not work if your hair is dry. The best time to do this is right after showering. Part your hair into 2 halves from the top and divide it on the bottom into 2 pony tails. Clip one half of your hair and let loose the other half.

Step 2: Brush and pin
Take a section of the loose half and brush it straight against your head. Pin it neatly with bobby pins at regular intervals to hold it in place. Bring the strand of the hair around your head, making sure to keep on brushing it before pinning. Continue to bring it around your head until the hair is neatly pinned around your head.

Step 3: Continue to brush and pin
Continue to do the same in step 2 for the rest of your hair. Just put the strands around your head and on top of each other. If your hair starts to dry in the middle, make it wet again. Just remember to brush and pin all of the hair neatly. If a few strand of hair is not perfectly straight, that is fine.

Step 4: Get your beauty sleep
After you are done with the brushing and pinning, it is time for bed. Sleep with your hair pinned up and you will enjoy straighter, softer hair in the morning!

We hope this is helpful for you and will bring you benefits of getting straighter hair without an iron. Of course, there are some older folks who caution us against this method as we are pinning the wet hair to our head. The trapped water is said to be the cause of migraine.

Nonetheless, we do not know how true that will be, so use it as you would and we hope that it will help you out.
