Escape rooms are something of a novelty in Singapore today.

Solving puzzles, looking for clues like Blue’s Clues and trying to get out of a room could be fun and intense.

But what if I was to tell you that there’s something more heart pounding in store for you? More adrenaline-driven, more exciting?

L4D lovers, you’ll probably love this.

Colony 13

You get to join as a mutant (read: flesh eating zombies whose only purpose in life is to find the next meal) or a human who just wants to live.

Your battleground is an industrial estate at the Tai Seng area, and if you’re a human, you’ll be equipped with limited ammo and weapons to fight your way out.

Human

What makes the entire game more interesting is the fact that you have ‘classes’. You’re either a destroyer with not much armour or a tank who doesn’t have a gun and bulldoze your way through enemies.

Mutant

If you love playing the zombie in L4D, then you’ll probably love this role in the game. 15 mutants will be present in the game, and just like humans, the mutants have different classes as well.

The game masters encourage you to come in clothes you don’t mind getting rid of—so, no wearing that new H&M top you just bought.

They have realistic face paint and fake blood to help you get into character as well.

But there’s a catch.

If you’re a student or NSF, great! They have a 40% discount for students and NSFs, bringing the damage down to $31.90 for a single game.

However, if you’re an adult with no student card *coughfindyouroldonecough*, then be prepared to pay $49.90 for a single game.
