Yes, it’s that time of the year again.
The time when you look back at your 2019 New Year’s resolutions and realized that you’ve not achieved even one of them, but you still post new resolutions on Instagram for a “new year, new me” because 2020 is going to be different (not that you’ve not said that in the end of 2018, but anyways).
It’s also the day when you can do some charity unwillingly as the New Year Toto Draw is here.
Lest you’re unaware, every year, there would be two main Toto events: one’s for the New Year and one’s for the Chinese New Year.
The dates for the Chinese New Year draw, which is commonly known as the Hong Bao Draw, aren’t revealed yet.
And for the New Year Draw, it’ll fall on 3 January 2020.
$5 Million New Year Draw
Every year, employees all over Singapore would write their resignation letters and discuss what they would do with their winnings. I’ve had mine ready. Some even planned trips and went on condo showrooms because everyone knows he or she is going to be the winner.
And so this article is for everyone.
This year’s New Year Draw will take place on 3 January 2020 at 9:30 p.m. If you’ve yet to write your resignation letter and book your tickets to Bali, you still have a few days to do so.
And since yesterday, you can buy a $10 pack or a $20 pack from all Singapore Pools outlets.
Also, on the day of the draw, all outlets will extend their operating hours to 9:00 p.m. Authorised retailers will also extend their operating hours to 8:00 p.m. on 1 and 2 Jan.
In addition, phone betting will extend its operating hours, too:
All the best, and remember: even if you don’t win (which I think you won’t), the amount you’ve lost will be donated to the Tote Board lah, so at least you’d be contributing to another, erm, National Day Parade.
If you watch at least 10 minutes of brain rot content daily, you must know this:
