Muthu’s Curry
The majority of the customers here are tourists, but that shouldn’t deter you away from this place. This South Indian style curry fish head ($22) is a must-try! The curry spices in this are properly fried till perfection. Spicy lovers, this dish would be one of the spiciest curry fish heads you’ve ever tasted! And it’ll be worth every sweat.

Ocean Curry Fish Head
Over 30 years old, this corner coffee shop should be your next food-hopping destination (but don’t go during lunch hours). With a unique take on Peranakan and Indonesian, the spicy curry gravy will wow you with its overwhelming coconut flavour, tamed by a hint of fruitiness from the pineapples. And for $25, every curry fish head novice is bound to fall head over heels in love.

Gu Ma Jia Food Pot
Assam lovers, this place is the one for you. Well-balanced in flavours, the gravy has a nice thickness that’ll leave you craving for second servings. And instead of the common sea bream, this restaurant cooks the curry with a more flavourful fish called the red snapper.

Casa Bom Vento
Priced as the most expensive curry fish head, don’t stray away from this $95 curry fish head for it is worth every single dime. For starters, you are given a size five times bigger than your usual curry fish head serving. With a wide array of spices and herbs such as turmeric, assam and chilli, you’ll immediately notice a slight spiciness and a burst of umami flavour in this wholesome blend of Indian and Eurasian dish.
However, do take note that you have to pre-order their curry fish head. Well, you know what they say. Good things are worth the wait.

Sakunthala’s Food Palace
Not unknown to the residents living in Little India, this place is best known for its curry fish head. Flavourful and well-seasoned, it will definitely not disappoint you. We suggest eating there though instead of doing a take-home delivery!

The Banana Lead Apolo
A mix of North and South Indian fare, this 41-year old restaurant is on our charts as one of the most authentic Indian restaurants in Singapore. And if you’re an Indian cuisine lover, this place should be familiar to you. Their signature is none other than the rich flavourful curry fish head.

Samy’s Curry
Located along Demsey Hill, this is definitely a place worth travelling to. While it may not be the best among all these choices, with reasonable pricing, their curry fish head will leave you walking out of the store feeling satisfied.

East siders would be glad to know that this awesome curry fish head is part of a tze char restaurant. Head down with your friends and order a bunch of dishes like crispy pork lard, including this amazing assam curry fish head. It’ll be the best dinner ever.

West Co’z Café
Located in West Coast Plaza, this tze char Halal restaurant serves their signature curry fish head, which lives up to all the hype out there. Not to mention they have plenty of seating so don’t worry about not being able to get a table during lunch hour!

Xiang Fu Curry Fish Head
