We all need a getaway sometimes, every weekend if we can actually afford it. Also if we get to take leave. Well, you can have a getaway without having to take the plane, or ferry. Of course, you can hop on the ferry at Marina South pier to get to Lazarus Island, or cycle to Coney Island, but we think these getaways are more fun.
Staycation in a Boutique Hotel
The number of boutique hotels in Singapore has been increasing and so have the prices. But it’s worth your bucks because you won’t feel like you’re in just any other hotel. Boutique hotels are meant to make you feel out of the world.
Chalet at D’Resort
Chalets are good getaways. And D’Resort at Downtown East is the best place to go. It’s family friendly and safari themed. It’s unlike any other chalet that will make you think of Singapore.
Treetop Lofts @RWS
Never knew of such a place, but yes it exists. Tree tops already sound not Singapore. But you’ll be surprised to find it in the most Singaporean place ever. Gather your friends and have a rooftop party, or treetop party, whatever.

Singapore does have farms, so what better opportunity to discover a farm than to stay in its resort? Wake up in the morning and head down to Kranji Farm to see the animals!

If your getaway is one in need of a good spa and pampering, Capella is your place to go. Of course it’s expensive, but it’s still worth your money.
Cycle at Pulau Ubin
Because Lazarus Island and Coney Island is too overrated. Plus, Pulau Ubin is where you get authentic kampong experience.
Charter a yacht at Keppel Bay
Living the high life, seriously. Chartering a yacht may be expensive but if you’re with a group of friends, it’s worth it. Sail away and snorkel in Singapore’s waters.
