If there’s one thing that can impress a bae instantly, it’s food. And I’m not talking about food in general, but one specific kind.

Desserts. Gooey pastries filled with amazing custards and a crunchy crust, or decadent chocolate oozing from a molten cake that’s topped off with vanilla ice cream.

Here’s 10 desserts you can whip up under 10 minutes, and get loads of appreciative hugs and kisses from your bae as she digs in.

A Honeyed Cheesecake
This cheesecake requires no baking skills whatsoever. Crumble some digestive biscuits and set them as the base of your fruitcake. Now mix some cream cheese, whipped cream and honey. Sweeten up the mix with a bit of sugar if that’s your thing.

Lay the mix above your biscuit base and leave your cheesecake to set in the fridge for about 2 hours. Serve with sprinkled biscuit crumbs and chocolate chips.

Bread and Butter Pudding with Bananas
Divide a few slices of banana bread into your micro-safe dish and drizzle them with melted butter. Now get another bowl and mix sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla together. Spread this mix over your banana bread, and top it off with some toffee sauce.

Set the dish in your oven on high for 7 minutes, or until you find the custard set. This bad boy’s best served with ice cream and a hint of icing sugar.

Popcorn and Salted Caramel Pudding
The best way to prep this is in a mason jar. Cut some sponge cake into slices and add them into a few mason jars. In a separate bowl, mix caramel and salt together. Spoon your freshly made salted caramel mixture over the sponge cakes.

Take your dessert up a notch with some sliced banana pieces, cream and yes, popcorn.

Balsamic Berries and Ricotta Cheese
Talk about a perfect pair. You’ll need to boil a cup of balsamic vinegar with a few tablespoons of honey and some mint until you get a syrup.

When the syrup’s cooled down, drizzle it over your bowl of ricotta cheese and berries.

Parfaits with Cookies and Cream
All you need to do is some layering work. Build a base with vanilla pudding, and follow that with crushed Oreo cookies. Top the dessert with whipped cream and an entire cookie.

Trifles with Tiramisu
Get some mascarpone mixed with sugar. Now dip your ladyfingers into a ¾ espresso/1 tablespoon rum mix.

Layer the mascarpone and ladyfingers in glasses. Top these ladies off with whipped cream and a dust of cocoa powder.

The Fake “Ice Cream” with Bananas
Get a hold of your food processor and puree some bananas. Add milk as you go until the texture is nice and creamy.

Scoop the puree into a bowl and top them up with chocolate syrup and peanuts.

Express Chocolate Cake
In one bowl, mix up 5 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, ¼ flour, 3 tablespoons of milk, one egg, a dash of vanilla extract and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Microwave the mix for about 2 minutes or until it’s all puffed up.

Apple Berry Crumble
Mix lemon rind, apple and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Split the mix into individual microwaveable dishes with mixed berry jam on the base. Cover with plastic wrap and micro on high for 2.5 minutes or until it’s heated all the way.

Add some muesli and microwave again, uncovered for 20 seconds. Serve while hot with a bit of double cream.

Caramel Chocolate Ice Cream Bites
Place some ice cream to soften for 5 minutes in a bowl. Melt some chocolate and cream in a microwave for 1.5 minutes with a break and mix every 30 seconds. Get this mix nice and smooth.

Add some chopped choc-caramel biscuits to the softened ice cream and scoop the mixture into your chocolate cups. Decorate with slivered almonds and chocolate sauce.
