The 30 year old American singer has been the favourite of many. Bruno Mars might be no hunk, but his voice and songs are just too irresistible. My favourite songs would be The Lazy Song and When I Was Your Man. You’ve got to admit that this man has strong vocals.
But is that all there is to him? You’ll be surprised but there are other things about him that you need to know!
His nickname was Little Elvis
What a cute name! And we think it fits because his voice is amazing.
It took 3 years for his manager to convince Atlantic Records to sign him
That’s a pretty long time. If he wasn’t signed, we wouldn’t have had the privilege of listening to such great songs! Looks like success really doesn’t come easy huh?
He’s part Asian
His father is Puerto Rican but his mum is Filipino. So he kind of has some kind of Asian blood in him. Yay for us!
He only asks for 2 items when he’s backstage
Performing is pretty tedious but all Bruno Mars ever asked for are 2 items–wet wipes and a bottle of wine. One for wiping away his sweat and the other to calm his nerves, we guess?
His favourite colour is maroon
Die hard fans would know this! And we think that maroon looks real good on him anyway!
He is only 165cm tall
Which is about my height and pretty short for a guy? But who cares? We love him anyway!
He has 4 tattoos and he loves them.
They are his mum’s name Bernadette over a heart, “Pete’s Boy” which is a homage to his dad, a ship anchor on his right forearm and lastly an image of a gypsy on his left forearm for good luck’ sake.

Arrested for possession of cocaine
In September 2010, he was arrested in Las Vegas where he pleaded guilty. However the charges were wiped off after he did some community service. Can’t do that here in Singapore though.
He got his first dog in 2012
Every man needs a best friend and company. He got a dog in 2012 and named him Geronimo. How cute!
