A great movie is made up of intense storytelling, awesome cinematography and sweetsweet music.

This is our list of the 10 greatest movie songs so good people will forget the movie earlier than the songs. Do you agree with our choice?

1. 小幸運 – Hebe

The movie, Our Times, brought back poignant memories and made all of us 90s kids relive our childhood and mourn our first crush back in secondary school.

2. 那些年 – 胡夏

This is from another great Taiwanese movie, You are the apple of my eye.

3. Don Omar – Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo

Fast and Furious fans will recognise this song from the fifth instalment of the series.

4. A Thousand Years – Christina Perri

You might hate the movie, Twilight, but you’ll never be able to hate the song. It gives you goosebumps just listening to her sing.

5. Angel of the Morning – Juice Newton

Deadpool is incredible, but this song even more so. You might not recognise it at first but wait till you get to the chorus.

6. 关怀方式 – 陈汉玮&蔡礼莲

And time for some oldies. Okay, we’re stretching this a bit far but do you remember the movie Cupid Love? This is a song sang by our very own Chen Hanwei (陈汉玮).

7. My Heart Will Go On – Celine Dion

Another song that you’ll recognise immediately from the first verse. This song was as iconic as the movie Titanic.

8. Let it Go – Idina Menzel

When we’re talking about great movie songs, how can we miss out on Frozen’s Let it Go by Idina Menzel?

9. If We Hold On Together – Diana Ross

No matter whether you’re 30 or 18, you’ll still cry when you hear this song. Most likely, you’ll have forgotten the movie but the song? Never.

How many of us still remember Pocahontas, the cartoon movie? Very few. But the song is unforgettable.
