Whoever said that time will ease all pain was obviously not a woman. As long as you have your period every month, you are never free from the cramps. If you always experience painful cramps during your period, you might want to do something to relieve that pain. Here are some simple things you can do to make your life a little easier and less painful every month!
Pink Panadol
Obviously, you could try painkillers. However, not just any painkiller, but make sure it is Panadol in pink packaging for menstrual cramps. It’s specially formulated to deal with period pains!

Exercise
No, we are not kidding about this. Even if you can barely move, try to get up and do some brisk-walking or even stationery exercises. This produces endorphin that help to relieve pain!
Avoid drinking tea.
Almost all types of teas are cooling, and the Chinese believe that this will increase the Yin in the body and hence, worsen the cramps.
Avoid cold drinks and food.
The cold will worsen your cramps as it causes your muscles to contract. Also, you need as much energy as you can have to deal with the pain, but cold things require more energy to digest.
Heat pack
Placing a heat pack on your tummy will help to soothe your cramps much  better. This helps to relax the muscles in your uterus and prevent them from contracting and causing the cramps.
Lying down
It’s a perfect excuse for being lazy. When you are standing, your muscles are more tense. Lie down to relax and relieve the ache!
Avoid eating pineapple or watermelon.
These fruits are said to increase cramps, perhaps due to the cooling effect they have on the body.
Eat food with magnesium and iron.
The iron is to replenish your blood loss, while magnesium has been proven to be a pain reliever!
Drink ginger tea.
Okay, fine, we did say to avoid teas but this is an exception! Ginger helps to reduce inflammation and pain associated with cramps.

Apply for MC.
Honestly, there’s nothing better than doing nothing while you are having your cramps. Just cover yourself up and sleep.
Here’s what NCMPs are, and what to expect after GE2025:
