With all the café hype in Singapore, there sprout many themed cafes that are just too cool, some of which you might not even know!
There’s no need to travel overseas for themed cafes now, not when we have such cool ones here in Singapore. If you are a fan of cafe hopping, here are 10 themed cafes (some permanent, some not) you must visit in Singapore to feel like a boss!
Pokemon café
The Pokemon café is not a permanent setup in Singapore so make sure you don’t miss this. This pop-up café will only be taking over Bugis Junction’s EwF for a limited period from 27 May to 31 July. Pikachu fans, you have to mark your calendars now! There will even be a 3D photo booth installed at the café so prepare to catch ‘em all!

Hello Kitty Orchid Garden
Hello Kitty café has arrived in Singapore’s Changi Airport, with a grand and beautiful garden setting filled up lush greenery and flowers. They have an all-day-breakfast menu, and a variety of mains ranging from rice to pasta, and also dessert! And the best part? They are open 24 hours daily.

The Reading Room
The Reading Room offers guests a cosy atmosphere for relaxing and a good read. They sell a selection of western food and is a café by day, bar by night time.

The first Sanrio character to arrive in Singapore, Pompompurin café is a place loaded with cuteness. The bright yellow coloured themed café will allow you to feel cheery and relive your inner child. Even if you’re not a Sanrio fan, you’re bound to go “Aww..” and cannot bear to eat your too adorable food.

Teddy & Me
The name of this café doesn’t sound like it, but it’s actually a Mr Bean themed café! Whoever remembers Mr Bean, you need to check out this really cute place with Instagram-able desserts.

As the name suggests, this blissfully themed café centers around the concept of a chill, elegant vibe. The café features a warm and beautiful ambience for guests to relax and enjoy coffee, with a wide range of gourmets.
DC Superheroes café
Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman. If you’re a die-hard fan, how can you say NO? The Superman-inspired café sells Green lantern salad, Batman’s epic dark knight charcoal black bun burger and much more. Or if you prefer Joker’s just desserts, you’re free to try.
