There’s a Chinese term for mature women who are not married yet, and it’s “剩女”, otherwise literally translated as “leftover women”. This criticising term definitely doesn’t do much for these women who are usually beautiful and successful. 

Here are 10 types of ladies who are pretty, but might not find a boyfriend easily. Do you belong to any on the list?

Too pretty.
It’s always the same vicious cycle—Guy A thinks that she is way out of his league, Guys B, C, D, and E all think the same too.

Smart.
Unfortunately, many men like to feel superior to their girlfriends, so none of them are willing to appear stupid as compared to a woman.

Successful in her career.
Many men like to be the main breadwinner of the household. If a woman excels better at their career, then the men tend to feel inferior.

Quarrelsome women.
Some women just can’t live a day without winning an argument. Such strong personalities can prevent them from living peacefully with another person.

Emotional women.
It’s hard for men to deal with mood swings all the time, especially when they are already tired from dealing with the various situations at work.

Spendthrift.
Of course, many men are willing to spend on their girlfriends and pamper them. However, nobody likes it when a woman is a spendthrift and takes money for granted!

Tom-boyish.
No matter how open-minded a society is, there are bound to be more conservative people who think that a woman should be soft-spoken and gentle.

Demanding.
Sometimes, a woman may feel that it’s only right that she gets showered with attention and gifts by their boyfriend all the time. Such self-centeredness doesn’t really do much for their attractiveness to guys.

Bad addictions.
Bad habits like gambling or doing drugs are definitely a no-no, be it for girls or guys. However, some societies also cannot accept it when ladies smoke.

Too reliant.
These are the type of women who expect their boyfriends to literally be on-call 24/7. You need to have your own lives and privacy even in a relationship!
