Do you feel so paiseh about using Tinder that you 1) don’t tell anyone you use it 2) secretly use it 3) don’t even create a Tinder account? Well, here are some reasons why feeling paiseh is just nonsense – Tinder has so many reasons for us to use it, so WHY NOT?

“Make friends what, cannot meh?”
While Tinder is one way to meet potential lovers, it doesn’t restrict you to meet friends. Just state in your profile that you are open to make new, lasting friendships! The more the merrier!

Even if there are no matches, Tinder can be a fun place for you to check out other’s profile and swipe left or right. Admit it, looking at profiles can be interesting, as you wonder why some people use the weirdest photos as their profile picture. They make you go LOL, so why not?

What is wrong with using Tinder? Some people have negative thoughts about using Tinder and dating apps, but you shouldn’t let them affect YOUR judgement of it! After all, YOU are the one using it, not them, and you’ll be the one meeting new people, friends, and partners.

Even if you do meet new people on a regular basis, there is nothing wrong too, with having a Tinder account. Why not just make a Tinder account just for the sake of having one?

Tinder comes with a plus side of dates – you get to go on dates with people whom you think you click well with, so dates are a good way of connecting with people of the same wavelength. There may be so-so dates, but there may be really fun dates that keep the flame burning!

If things don’t work out, at least you make friends right? Expanding your social circle through Tinder is totally fine.

Now that you can make friends, those who are savvy will realise that it’s also a good way to build your networks! Meeting new people and knowing what career field they are in creates more opportunities for not only you, but them too!
