It’s never easy for a parent to see their beloved child die.
And it’s no exception for the mother of a 16-year-old delivery boy, Muhammad Saifullah Muhammad Hafiz who was killed in a bus crash at Bayan Lepas (a town in Penang) on Thursday evening.
His mother wrote a tearful goodbye letter in a Facebook post that expressed her grief on the tragic death of her eldest son.

“Wait For Me And Your Dad”
In the heart-wrenching goodbye letter powerful enough to make a grown man cry, the mournful mother, who goes by the name of Siti, wrote “Thank you for being a wonderful son. Even when you were tired, you’d still do what I tell you to do.”
“Now rest my darling. Wait for me and your dad. Your brothers and sisters will be there too.”
As she buried her son, Siti said that she found her son’s death extremely heartbreaking and difficult to accept when she was first informed.
In the letter, she refers to her son with an endearing nickname, Chaq.
“Chaq, I am not strong, you are our life. You are the one who taught me to become a mother and a friend,”
He Was A Hardworking Boy
Even though Hafiz was still studying, he would work all sorts of part-time jobs to save up for his future and family.
Siti told Harian Metro that Hafiz didn’t want to trouble his parents. He would use his hard-earned money to get things for himself. So for whatever he gets, he earns it himself.
At the time of the accident, he was on his way to make a delivery for a customer before he was crushed by the bus.

Hafiz’s father mentioned that his son has always been independent and he deeply cared for his family.
“He was a really good son. Not once did he burden his mother and I. We were an extremely close family.”
Bus Driver Lost Control Of Vehicle
At around 6.30pm on Thursday, Hafiz instantly died on the spot when he was crushed by a bus driver who lost control of his vehicle.
The bus had rammed into a parked Proton Waja and a Suzuki Swift that carried a mother and her two children at Persiaran Kelicap.
Bus Driver Detained
The 49-year-old bus driver was detained and further investigations were conducted.

It turns out that, the reckless driver did not only not possess a driving license but he was also tested positive for meth.
According to NST, district police has said that the driver has been remanded for two days from today.
Let’s extend our condolences to Hafiz’s family and hope that Hafiz and his family get the justice that they deserve.
