When I was younger, I grew up playing video and computer games with my brother. Hence, my dad always warned us about being addicted to games.
He told me horrifying stories of how some people wouldn’t sleep at night because they just could not stop playing their games. Well, it was horrifying to my primary school self.
But this incident takes it to a whole new level:
16YO Stabs Sister To Death & Kills Himself After She Didn’t Let Him Use Her Phone (To Play Games)
Uhm. What.
According to Oriental Daily, 16-year-old boy STABBED his sister to death and then committed suicide by jumping off a building right after.
I’m officially disturbed.
But What Exactly Happened?
The boy, who is from China, wanted to borrow his 21-year-old sister’s mobile phone to play mobile games.
However, she refused to lend it to him.
This made the 16-year-old boy so angry that he grabbed a knife and stabbed his sister until she was dead.
I am as horrified as you are. But this is not where the story ends.
He then promptly throws himself out of the window and commits suicide. Mind you, they lived on the 23rd floor. Needless to say, he died upon impact.
Mother Saw The Entire Incident Unfold
During the incident, the boy’s family members were home. The mother heard the commotion happening and barged into the room to witness her son stabbing her daughter before he jumped out the window.
The mother tried to stop him but it was too late.
Police investigations revealed that the day before the incident was the boy’s mother’s birthday. Unfortunately, she lost two of her children the very next day. It is unclear if the boy has any other siblings.
What happened was truly a tragedy and we hope that the family will find peace.
