21YO Student Fractures Arm in Two Places After Arm-Wrestling With Friend

Much entertainment and cause for laughter reside in this world.

We can play Nintendo Switch. We can watch Goody Feed videos. And sometimes, in class, you can arm-wrestle with your friends.

I mean, it’s all fun and games, right?

But what if… this friend has had his arm fractured in an arm-wrestling match?

What Happened

A poor 21-year-old student surnamed Xu from Changzhou, China decided to take his college friend on in an arm-wrestling match.

So it was shaping up to be an epic match.

The battle of the century.

A clash between both manly man’s manliness.

Neither willing to give way.

Until…

They heard a clicking sound

*Click-click…boom*

X-rays showed that his humerus, the bone that connects your shoulder to the elbow, had fractured. In two. Ouch!

Fractures Aren’t Fun

Not exactly humourous, is it?

It reminds me of my own fracture to my right elbow in a bad fall when I was 12 years old. Despite an emergency bone-re-joining treatment, I am permanently crooked for life.

At the elbow.

(Yes, I can show you. Over coffee.)

It’s alright to have a little game and fun, but for the sake and safety of the other, perhaps one could put away arm-wrestling as a possible itinerary.

Embrace, says Chinese chess. Or a sprint to some finishing line or even a race-to-50-pushups to pit one’s wit of might.

High-five me if you are in favour of watching out for your friend’s safety.

Or a handshake, it’s cool.

So if you have friends who are crazy about arm-wrestling, maybe it might be a good idea for them to change their manly competition.

Either that or make sure they’re not using their right hands, because, well, there’s a lot of stuff you can do with your right hand.
