His parents quickly rushed him to a nearby private hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Pravinโ€™s body has been sent for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of his death.

According to local reports, funeral preparations are now taking place at the same venue where the wedding ceremony was held.

Rising Cases of Cardiac Arrests Among Young Indians

This incident adds to a growing list of heart-related fatalities among young people in India.

Just days before Pravinโ€™s death, on 12 May, another groom passed away in Kanpur, India, shortly after his wedding ceremony.

The Kanpur groom had just sat in the car after the brideโ€™s sendoff when he suddenly lost consciousness.

He died while being transported to the hospital.

In February, a 23-year-old woman collapsed and died from a heart attack while dancing at a sangeet ceremony during a wedding in Madhya Pradesh.
