373 COVID-19 Cases Today (28 May); No Singaporean or Singapore PR Infected

With the end of Circuit Breaker only five days away, most predictions have come true: cases in the dormitories remain stable and local transmissions are at a single digit.

Well, today is even better.

Today, there are 373 confirmed cases.

And get this: none of them is a Singaporean or Singapore PR. The last time this happened was back on 23 February 2020.

In total, Singapore now has 33,249 cases.

Most of the cases are work permit holders living in dormitories.

On average, based on yesterday’s numbers, the number of new cases in the community has increased, from an average of 5 cases per day in the week before, to an average of 6 per day in the past week.

The number of unlinked cases in the community has also increased, from an average of 1 case per day in the week before, to an average of 2 per day in the past week.

This is partly due to MOH’s active surveillance and screening of nursing home residents and pre-school staff, which have picked up more cases in the past week.

And as for the community cases, it seems like most of them reside in the west.

Places That COVID-19 Patients Have Visited Are Still Places in the West

By now, you should know that MOH is going to update the public about the public places that cases in the community have been during their infectious period, which excludes residences, workplaces, healthcare facilities and public transport.

An updated list shows that all the places are still in the west.

Here’s the list as of yesterday night:
