Tinysnips

Tinysnips is an art studio from Singapore with a focus on handmade miniatures.

Its founder, Rui, is a miniature artist, designer, and illustrator with a BA (Hons) in Communication Design from The Glasgow School of Art and a Diploma with Merit in Visual Communication from Nanyang Polytechnic.

Under Tinysnips, she conducts several workshops teaching participants the basic skills and knowledge to explore making clay miniatures and other art mediums.

All of her workshops have a set of guidelines and instructions to follow so that complete beginners do not feel frustrated and lost, as miniature-making is a unique craft that covers a wide range of art techniques.

In December, she is conducting these 3 workshops:

Miniature Fried Egg 

In this beginner-friendly 1.5-hour workshop, Rui will guide you through insider techniques to achieve lifelike details with clay.

By the end, you’ll have the option to turn your creation into a fun keychain that will have people questioning, ‘REAL or FAKE?’

Iced Gem Biscuit

In this beginner-friendly 45-minute workshop, Rui will guide you through the art of colour mixing and the effective use of molds with clay to create a unique miniature ice gem biscuit in your favorite colour.

At the end of the session, you’ll have the option to transform your creation into a stylish keychain that you can hang on your favourite bag.

The Block Bouquets

Established in 2022, The Block Bouquets is the world’s first LEGO-like bouquet florist where creativity meets tradition in the form of beautiful block bouquets.

They are currently offering 4 different types of workshops in the month of December:

UNLIMITED DIY Lego Flowers Session (40 minutes)

This DIY workshop comes with an unlimited amount of Lego Flowers of your choice with manuals, unlimited glue usage and unlimited usage of cute aprons.

There will be no instructors to guide you but there will be a 5 minute photo taking session at the end.

WICKKA STUDIO

WICKKA STUDIO is a crystal and candle making studio that was founded in 2021 when co-founder Megan started selling her own candles with her partner Jerald.

In March this year, they opened their first studio after overwhelming support from their customers.

The idea of combining crystals and candles to create 2-in-1 manifestation candles came from Megan’s grandparents, who loved to collect crystals and often told her to always light candles beside crystals.

Currently, the studio offers manifestation candle-making workshops where people can learn the art of creating a candle from scratch, the basics on crystal healing and how to choose the crystals they want to infuse in their candles.

Workshop prices start from S$58, depending on candle jar size.
