A lot of new malls have been popping up in Singapore like the lauded Waterway Point recently, and we may have neglected some of the older malls. While new malls are more interesting simply because they’re a breath of fresh air in boring Singapore, these 5 older malls in the West of Singapore deserves more of your time and attention because they’re simply that awesome.
Jurong Point
This mall is a food haven for all foodies and Instagram lovers out there. You’ll know what we mean when you get there. From Mongkok Street to Japanese Street, not only do you get to satisfy your tummy, you’ll also get to feast your eyes on their amazing decor and themes as well. The fact that Jurong Point is always crowded should not deter you, instead you’ll know that it definitely has plenty to offer.
IMM
No one needs to be introduced to IMM. Full of factory outlet stores, this is the Changi City Point of the west. The shopping here is one of the best and you can get high end items like Coach and Agnes B at cheaper prices. Their Daiso is absolutely gigantic, and Singapore’s first Giant Hypermart is here as well!
JCube
JCube is the place to be for teenagers and teens wannabes. Filled with youthful energy, J Avenue, said to be the next Bugis Street, is absolutely divine for you to explore. Selling all sorts of knick knacks, you can get anything you want from this mall, from trendy watches to manicure. Check out CG Castle Group while you are there for the best watches at affordable prices! Oh, do we need to mention the ice-skating ring?
Bukit Panjang Plaza (BPP)
If you want a place that offers both good food and the best shopping deals, head down to BPP. They’ve recently renovated and when they reopened for business, the food choices here are incredibly mindboggling. Don’t take our word for it, just make your way down and you’ll see what we mean!
Ten Mile Junction
Okay, we didn’t know what’s good at this mall until one of the writers in the office brought this up. The mall has good KBBQ for only $15 on weekdays! After hearing about this, we just have to put this in. It’s KBBQ! Korean BBQ lovers, check this place out today. We insist.
