Many of us enjoy taking selfies, especially when we are in a beautiful, picture-perfect environment or are in places that are just too interesting to pass up. But we all know that where there are lesser crowds, you will be able to take better, unobstructed pictures of your beautiful selves with much more ease and clarity. So just where are these places? Here are 5 locations you can head to in Singapore that are only accessible by car, to take that perfect selfie.

Located uphill from Jurong Bird Park, Jurong Hill  has been around for a long time since 1971, and boasts a panoramic view of Jurong Town. Within the park is a “garden of fame” where many trees planted by foreign dignitaries are planted. The look-out tower located right at the tip of the hill gives you an aerial view of Jurong. Many couples have done their wedding photoshoots here, giving you a good reason to get some selfies taken here too.

Kranji Countryside

How often are we able to get away from the urban hustle and bustle and escape to the peaceful countryside for a day? At Kranji Countryside, you get to view goats being milked and buy dairy products from Hey Dairies. You can also check out Hausmann Marketing Aquarium where you can catch fishes with nets, feed them and get accessories for your pet fish back home. Enough reasons to head there for your selfie adventure?

Besides the beautiful architecture of this wooden bridge, the night lights makes the whole place feel really romantic. It’s the perfect place for you and your partner to chill out, enjoy the evening breeze and take some memorable selfies as a keepsake.

Kampong Buangkok

The only kampong left in Singapore, this is probably the only place left where you can find zinc roofing on the houses and chickens running around the gravel path. Snap a couple of artistically angled selfies here to show how much of a wanderer you are. This is a part of old Singapore you may never get to see again once it is gone.

Punggol Waterway Park

If you love nature and love taking pictures amongst floral and fauna, this is the perfect location to do just that. The fact that this place has four themed areas such as Nature Cove, Recreation Zone, Heritage Zone and Green Gallery also contributes to its photo-friendliness. But if it’s just a nice, quiet walk you crave, you can also just do that along the 2.4km Punggol Promenade Nature Walk.
