A 76-year-old Singaporean man, Mr Lim Joo Yong drowned on Monday, 14 October at around 3pm.

He was snorkelling off the coast of Malaysia’s Redang Island. He was on holiday with family and friends onboard Genting Dream cruise ship.

The cruise left Singapore on Sunday and had two stops scheduled, one of them being Malaysia’s Redang Island.

Queenstown Could Get 5,000 New Flats By 2027

More than 5,000 new homes could be launched in Queenstown by 2027, based on details in a traffic study that will be conducted for Singapore’s oldest town.

About 2,060 of these homes in two developments could be launched as early as 2021 or 2022, according to tender documents.

Man Caught On Video Driving Car Of Grass Patch & Pavement Arrested For Drink Driving 

A 41-year-old man was arrested by the police for drinking driving. This came after he was caught on video driving his red Toyota car on the pavement in Yishun. The video was circulated on social media.

The incident occurred near Khatib MRT Station. Police said on Tuesday that the incident happened on a pavement in Yishun, near Khatib MRT Station on Monday, 14 October.
