Driver Who Filmed PM Lee’s Son Fined $900 & Disqualified From Driving
A driver took videos of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s son while he offered him a ride home. As a result, he was fined $900 and disqualified from driving for eight months.
This was because he had used his phone while driving on the road, thereby endangering the lives of others. In the video, he can also be heard asking PM Lee’s son personal questions.

Jurong Clementi Town Council Says That Hose Reel Cabinets At Bukit Batok HDB Were Locked To Safeguard Against Vandalism
Jurong-Clementi Town Council has clarified that hose reel cabinets at Block 210A Bukit Batok Street 21 were locked due to cases of vandalism in the past.
This happened when a fire broke out on 1 November and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) wasn’t able to use the fire hose. The fire was extinguished using water from the SCDF’s emergency vehicles.

Boy Who Was Scalded & Beaten To Death By Parents Had Dirty, Raw Wounds
A five-year-old boy who was allegedly scalded by hot water by both his parents had collapsed and went into shock during surgery. A burns specialist testified that the boy had raw, dirty wounds.
“This would be considered a clinically ill patient and at high risk of morbidity and mortality even after surgical treatment,” said the doctor.

Motther Gets Detention Order For Attacking Teen Daughter As She Was Upset Over Husband’s Affair
A woman was upset over her Husband’s affair, so she slit her arm and hit her 14-year-old daughter on the head with a chopper.
For voluntarily causing hurt to her teenage daughter, the 49-year-old woman was sentenced to a detention order of 14 days and 12 months’ of day reporting.
A second charge of using threatening behaviour by cutting her own forearm and going into her daughter’s room to shock her was also considered.
