The Jurong Lake area has been rejuvenated over the past nine years with the addition of a children’s playground and a green roof pavilion at J Link, a new mall.

Woman Arrested After Allegedly Spending Over $3,400 On Stolen Credit Card

A woman was arrested for unauthorised transactions in retail stores of more than $3,400 on a stolen credit card.

The victim of the incident had lodged a police report after finding out that unauthorised transactions had been made using her missing credit card.

NEA Trials Using Video Analytics To Catch Smokers

NEA is now using surveillance cameras to keep tabs on hotspots and selected non-smoking areas along the No Smoking Zone.

A two-week trial was conducted in 2019 on its feasibility of using video analytics to spot smoking, and it found that it is 80% accurate.

Hydrocarbon Contaminants Removed From Water Tanks In Ang Mo Kio Block

Trace amounts of hydrocarbons, which is a compound that’s found in anti-mosquito oil were found in resident’s tap points in Ang Mo Kio.

This was announced by national water agency PUB. Tests revealed that while the water quality was tested as “good” the tap points had significant amounts of hydrocarbons.
