Audi Rams Into 6 Innocently Parked Vehicles, Driver Runs Off & Abandons Car
A Facebook post shared on Singapore roads accident Facebook page shows an Audi car hit several parked vehicles in Pasir Ris Drive 3 towards Loyang Avenue on Thursday, 17 October 2019.
The police were alerted to a hit-and-run accident involving the car and six other vehicles. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it responded to the call ar around 9.20pm.
However, no assistance was required.

LTA: A Few Roadside Carpark Spaces In CBD To Be Converted Into Bicycle Parking Spaces
People who cycle to work in the CBD will be able to find bicycle parking spaces more easily. Two roadside parking spaces in Jiam Chuan Road in Chinatown will be turned into around 20 bicycle parking spaces.
This will take place by end-November. More will be converted in the future. This was announced by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) on 19 October to build a cycling path network in the city.

New Ridge Walk Opens In Botanic Gardens, Part Of 8ha Extension
Visitors who drop by Botanic Gardens can enjoy a walk along a 350m-long hiking trail, taking them past the new highest point in the park. The highest point is 40 metres above sea level.

The ridge is called the Mingxin Foundation Rambler’s Ridge which features plants from habitats from in the tropical hills of South-east Asia.

SBS Transit Turns To Industrial Arbitration Court In Wage Dispute With 5 Bus Drivers
SBS Transit on Friday, 18 October said that it has made an application to refer the wage dispute cases involving five bus drivers to the Industrial Arbitration Court (IAC).
The IAC arbitrates industrial disputes and certifies collective agreements between unions and employers.
The five bus drivers made claims in the Magistrates’ Court, suing SBS Transit for underpaying them for overtime hours.

PM Lee To Attend Inauguration of Indonesian President Joko Widodo In Jakarta
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be in Jakarta over the weekend to attend the inauguration of Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
This was announced by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in a statement on Saturday (19 October), Mr Widodo will be sworn in for a second term on Sunday afternoon at the parliament.
