Car Driver And PMD Rider Arrested For Rash Act After Squabble At Tanjong Pagar

A driver of a car and a personal mobility device (PMD) were arrested by the police after they got into a squabble which was recorded on video.

The video was filmed on Enggor Street in Tanjong Pagar and was uploaded to SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, which shows the vehicle overtaking the PMD user riding in the rightmost lane. A sound, presumably a crash was then heard.

Engineer Sentenced To 86 Weeks’ Jail For PIE Viaduct Collapse

The engineer who prepared the building work plans for the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) viaduct that collapsed in July 2017 was sentenced to 86 weeks’ jail. This equates to over one year and nine months in jail.

The collapse of the PIE viaduct killed a Chinese worker named Chen Yinchuan, 31 and injured 10 other workers.

Man Wants To Withdraw Guilty Plea For Raping Drunk Teen At Pasir Ris Block

A man had previously admitted to raping a drunk teenager at the bottom of a block in Pasir Ris after playing Truth or Dare.

Now, he wants to withdraw his guilty plea of guilt. He also has yet to pay his lawyers, Marchus Tai and Roy Sze who have informed the high court that they will be discharging themselves from the case.

Singapore Civil Servants to Get 0.1 Month Year-End Bonus

If you’re a civil servant who’s looking for a big fat bonus, this is bad news for you.

It’s reported that the year-end bonus this year will be mere 0.1 month, the lowest since 2009. Together with the 0.45 month issued this mid-year, the total bonus is 0.55 month.
