Six skaters are currently representing Singapore in skateboarding at its SEA Games debut in Manila in December. Some of their names are Johan Badiuzzaman and Feroze Rahman.

The team of six will compete against well-known skateboarders like Sanggoe Dharma from Indonesia and Margielyn Didal from the Philippines.

Singapore and South Korea Will See More Flights Between Them As They Formalise Expanded Air Services Agreement

We can soon expect to see more flights to and from Singapore and South Korea. This comes after the two countries formalised an expanded air services agreement on Saturday.

The agreement will come into effect on Tuesday and will allow carriers between the two countries bring aboard more passengers and cargo flights between any destination in the two countries.

Bangladeshi Worker Dies After Crane Accident At Construction Site In Sengkang 

A Bangladeshi worker died on Friday after a crane accident at a construction site in Sengkang. The Housing and Development Board (HDB) is the developer of the construction site at 339 Anchorvale Road.

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) issued a statement saying that the 37-year-old worker “was caught between metal barricades and the counterweight of a crawler crane when the crane rotated”.

Singapore Says It Has Sovereign Right To Execute Malaysian Drug Trafficker

Singapore reiterated its sovereign right to use the death penalty when it comes to drug offenders. Singapore also expects other countries to respect their laws.

This comes in response to comments by a Malaysian Minister with regards to the execution of a Malaysian drug trafficker in Singapore.

According to the Ministry of Law and Ministry of Home Affairs, the law applies equally to all regardless of whether the offender is Singaporean or a foreginer.

New Park For Cyclists Complete with Food Outlets Open In East Coast Park Where Former Chalets Were

A new 5.4ha Cyclist Park Opened on Saturday. It is located where the former Goldkist Chalets used to be and can be found along the Round Island Route opposite the highway from the Mandarin Gardens estate.

Some of the facilities you can look forward to include a bike retail shop, a self-service bike repair station and cycling workshops.
