A 32-year-old man is currently under investigation by the police for being involved in a public assembly without having applied for a permit. A report was made against him on Tuesday.

The Indian nation “allegedly carried out the activity in Marina Bay, to show his opposition to India’s Citizenship Amendment Bill”, said the authorities in a news release.

2 Men Arrested After Shoppers Scammed Into Buying Fake AirPods

Two men have been arrested for allegedly scamming multiple people into buying fake Apple AirPods. They had seen an advertisement online and had responded to it.

Between 21 December and 23 December, the Singapore Police Force received numerous reports. Later, a 19-year-old and 23-year-old man were arrested.

Man Who Confessed To Having Unprotected Sex With Stepdaughter Given Three Years’ Jail

A 41-year-old man has been sentenced to three years in jail after he plead guilty to having sex with his 15-year-old stepdaughter.

The man had fetched his wife’s daughter from school before he drove her to a multistorey carpark where they had unprotected sex. The man is still married to his wife and his stepdaughter refers to him as “uncle”.

Tanker In Singapore Strait Attacked By Pirates On Christmas, 30 Incidents Of Piracy in 2019

A tanker was attacked by pirates on Wednesday, 25 December just two days after piracy attempts in the strait were prevented.

The total number of recorded piracy incidents this year in the Singapore Strait is now 30, according to the Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP).

2 Men Were Arrested For Assault At Jurong East After Police Scan Cameras & Identified Them

Two men aged 23 and 30 have been arrested by the police for allegedly being involved in a case of assault which happened at Jurong East on 19 December. They will be charged in court on Thursday.
