17 People Arrested for Selling and Possessing Chewing Tobacco

Well, only those sold in pharmacies are, and you can’t anyhowly buy off the shelf; you’d have to register with the pharmacies. After all, it’s cool to buy them since you’re showing your determination to quit smoking #justsaying

However, these 17 people who were arrested were found with Khaini tobacco, which is banned in Singapore as it could cause oral cancer.

Advisory Panel Proposes Several Recommendations for Drone Owners

With drones getting more accessible and affordable, more people are buying and operating them. While its reputation isn’t as smelly as PMDs, the authorities would still need to regulate them because drones might not have blocked your path, but they’ve caused disruptions in our airport. No biggies.

An advisory panel by the Government has proposed a few key recommendations, like registration of devices with a take-off weight of above 250g for $20 and owners to be at least 16 years old.

It seems like fake websites are popping out as fast as fake scam calls.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) posted a Facebook post to warn us about a fake website that looks legit:

Haze Might be Coming Back to Singapore for a Few Days

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s a chance that the haze might be back soon.

According to the NEA, the fire in JB and 60 hotspots in Indonesia might cause a slight haze as the wind blew the smoke towards us. However, as it’s forecasted to be rainy for the next few days, we might still be able to breathe in fresh air.
